FIKO Suite is the perfect combination of my vision and the ingenuity of an architect who is much more than a designer: she is family, she is the heart of this reality, she is Anna. Not just a B&B, but a warm refuge for those who want to immerse themselves in the magic of this land. FIKO Suite is a place that encompasses the breath of history and the comfort of modernity, revealing a narrative path that reflects the continuous dialogue between the values of tradition and innovation.
Here, within the walls of an ancient building from 1900, time seems to stand still.
The building overlooks, like a guarded secret among the streets of the center, a small alleyway leading to ancient historical memories.At the entrance, a small hall with a discreet and collected reception gives a warm welcome, opening the view to a large green space with wellness area. Right from the first steps, each furnishing component tells of its era, each cross vault speaks of skilled hands that wove art and functionality together. The grand stone staircase, smoothed by time, guides with elegance to the upper spaces suspended between the ancient and the modern, where large windows open wide to the blue Ionian Sea welcoming the warm light of the sun’s rays.
And then, the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea: a perfect solarium to welcome the sun’s rays, but also an invitation to stop and be lulled by the murmur of the waves, which bring with them the scent of the sea and the distant call of sailors and Greek legends. A space rich in greenery with its enchanting exotic plants. It is here, in this suspended place, that the Mediterranean manifests itself in all its essence, an eternal and irresistible reminder of voyages, dreams and adventures, but also of the ancient memories of Magna Graecia. This exclusive space is also ideal for private events and special occasions.
The stylistic choice of the structure was guided by the desire to weave history, symbols and meanings into a web of emotions and memories, which accompanies each guest on a unique journey. We want to make the stay live not just as a simple accommodation, but as a sensory experience in a dimension where time bends to the story, leaving room for authentic, intense and unforgettable moments.
The renovation, which took place in 2022, did not seek to erase the past but to enhance its character, integrating contemporary furnishings with period furniture in a skillful play of contrasts that tells of timeless refinement and preserves the building’s authentic beauty.
In the communal lounge, light reflects off surfaces that bear the marks of craftsmen’s hands, while bright colors and refined finishes give each corner a new soul.
The rooms, bathed in an atmosphere of warm, refined elegance, welcome guests with essential design furnishings conceived to offer the utmost comfort.
